ULI France Young Leaders Mentorship Programme
The purpose of the Young Leaders Mentorship Programme is to create a special relationship between an experienced ULI member and a Young Leader. It allows young real estate professionals to collaborate, exchange professional ideas, share career experiences and industry expertise with more senior ULI members. The programme is also a unique opportunity for mentors to give back, share their knowledge of the industry and also learn from the experience of tomorrow’s market leaders.
One of ULI’s principles is to help make the real estate community more sustainable and prosperous. We believe that this community should be the one that passes on its knowledge through the generations.
The first edition of the programme was launched during a ULI France webinar on Friday 5 February 2021 . Paola Urizar Soraluze and Mélanie Charpentier welcomed attendees which was then followed by an inspiring introduction by Erik Sonden, Chairman ULI France 2009 – 2013, and then by the testimony of Christopher Choa, ULI UK Mentor. Young Leaders Paula Szejnfeld Sirkis and Lionel Boisse then took the floor to introduce the program and explain the importance of having (and being) a Mentor. This was an excellent opportunity to get to know all the participants and to learn about the program in detail. Watch the webinar HERE.
This mentoring programme brings together, in pairs, experienced ULI members and a new generation of industry leaders. There are 12 mentors (ULI Senior Members) and 12 mentees (ULI Young Leaders Members) selected for the programme, which provides a unique opportunity to discuss real estate and professional development issues with an established ULI Senior Member in a privileged format and in a confidential setting.
Mentors 2021 : Jean-Pascal Bus, Nathalie Charles, Emmanuel De Lanversin, Amal Del Monaco, Sigrid Duhamel, Alexander Gebauer, Olivier Gerard, Sophie Henley, Marc Lhermitte, Marc Michel, Henry Ranchon and Marine Ulivieri.
Mentees 2021 :
Paola Urizar, Claire Flurin Bellec, Jade Francine, Thomas Ostré, Yannick Vincent, Antoine Kindts, Alexis Gasto, Cyprien Blanc, Arthur Gir, Sarah Zouheir, Nicolas Chapuzet and Bernard d’Arche.
At the end of the webinar participants were asked to choose one word to define what they expect from this programme. Some of them were: “sharing”, “pedagogy”, “exchange”, “learning”, “interaction”, “mutual contribution” … An inspiring start to a whole year of exchanges!
